Kevin began his journey in ministry in 1984 as an associate pastor at Mid-Cities Community Church in Midland, Texas. He eventually became the senior pastor which then led to opportunities to help start churches in Texas, New Mexico, and Florida.
Kevin’s leadership provides invaluable guidance to both organizations. His expertise in starting churches has led to the establishment of “AB3C” which stands for Assessment Center, Boot Camp, Coaching, Consulting and Cluster Groups. Together with David Houston, Kevin trains future church planters and provides consultation to churches on how they can nurture healthy, thriving churches.
The “Church Wrangler” is where Kevin blogs about leadership and the things that help churches thrive. Once upon a time, Kevin was an avid horseman, a true Texan from Abilene who lived on a ranch with cattle and horses. Nowadays, Kevin and wife Renée, together with their family — two daughters, a son, a son-in-law, and two grandchildren — call Franklin, Tennessee, home. They have two Yorkshire Terriers.
In between traveling the U.S. and the globe to consult for churches, Kevin co-pastors Bethel Franklin, an Every Nation Church.
